Google AdSense is a free program that enables website publishers of all sizes to display relevant Google ads and earn. Google adsense helps putting up content related ads on the website and you are paid for the clicks made on them by the visitors.
Affiliate Marketing:
Affiliate marketing means promoting any product e.g on this very blog of mine I am promoting two hostings (hostgator & hostmonster). When a user will sign up using these referral banners I will be paid for that.
E-Commerce Website:
Another way of making money online is to setup an online business through which you can sell your products e.g I am launching an online ecommerce website http://www.handicrafts.com.pk and have a plan to sell handicrafts of Pakistan through this website
i am pretty new to this Make money online stuff. i started making money online by monetizing my blogs and websites using Adsense, Adbrite and Kontera. i have yet to try affiliate marketing.

“make money online”. I used to hear this word so many times from different people and i used to think that it would be so easy to start this business. The reality is that you’ve to put a lot of effort in this business like any other business and you’ve to work really hard. If someone thinks that income will start coming in once they’ve setup their system, i will say that its their misconception as continuous hard work is involved in this business.
Make money online=Your Skill+Your Time+Patience+activeness+little bit smartness+motivation
This is a basic formula and decide yourself by comparing yourself to this formula. If you think you can really do it then go for it.

really great post man, i would to add something, that be careful in working with google adsense, cause it has a genius robots working with client to prevent them from doing any fakes or tricks to make more money from advertisements.

The best place to place your adsense banners is to the left of the screen with your profile on the top and do not forget to put adsense on your profile page also. This has something to do with human psychology but works for most people..

well google adsense is not paying much for the clicks. I am not happy with it..

I have created two account of google adsense but there were no visitor visiting the ads. then i place my ads with every comment on my blog which means with every keyword or blog post, ads will be according to topic and varying with topics. so now i got the visitors.
NOTE: please donot even try to click your own ads even not to test otherwise your account will be closed.
similarly for affiliate marketing i have put the tickers of different websites like rentacoder, getacoder, A.W Surveys etc.
As mentioned by the admin in the post about setting up an online business its really cool. but i need some tips in successing the online business?

You can also try selling stuff on craigslist, ebay etc. Takes some effort though.

The Google help page says: “Currently, AdSense publishers may place up to three AdSense for content units on one webpage. You may also place a maximum of three link units and two search boxes on each webpage.”
Does that mean 6 ad units (3 adsense for content + 3 link units) or just 3 ads overall?
